Privacy
The short version: no tracking cookies, no ads, and nothing here knows who you are.
What this site counts
Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics: which pages get read, the country a visit comes from, the kind of device and browser, and the site that sent it. It sets no cookies and can’t follow anyone to other sites. Each visit gets an anonymous code that resets every day, so the numbers are totals, never people.
Cookies
None for readers. The only cookie on this site keeps the editor signed in to the admin pages, and it’s set only when the editor signs in.
The newsletter
Subscriptions and emails are handled by Substack, under Substack’s privacy policy. Paid subscriptions go through Stripe, via Substack, so card details never reach this site. Subscriber email addresses are used only to send the newsletter.
A message to hello@alzamateurs.com is used only to reply to it.
Who runs this
Alzheimer’s for Amateurs is published by Solid Day LLC. Questions about privacy go to hello@alzamateurs.com.
