What it is

Leqembi slows early Alzheimer’s by clearing amyloid from the brain. On 13 July 2026 the FDA approved Leqembi Iqlik, an under-the-skin injection, for starting treatment, not just for keeping it going, and the autoinjector became available in the US on 24 August. The brain scans and checks for swelling and bleeding still come with it.
